Blueberries are indigo or purple colored with a grayish looking natural waxy coating called bloom. The bloom is nature's way of protecting the blueberries from external moisture while keeping them juicy and plump on the inside, small berries with a sweet and tangy flavor. It is very popular summer fruit like strawberries and are widely used in desserts.
Red Current are pearl sized berries, loosely clustered in elongated strands and have a somewhat translucent sheen. Their brilliant red skin encases a pulpy flesh that contains 3-12 tiny edible seeds. Raspberries are cylinder-shaped, with deep red colouring and a sweet flavour. These berries are actually consist of a collection of tiny fruits, each with its own seed covered in red skin and flesh, which form a helmet-shaped cluster around a small stem. Raspberry and blackberry; they have similar mouthfeel since both are clumpberries with multiple seeds. Raspberries are sweet in taste.
